Bene. Allora aspetto tue notizie Tra l'altro tu che hai la batteria rodata, se hai voglia, vedi un po' quanto ti cambia la durata il programmino che ti ho mandato via email... Ho costruito un aggeggio: Ho semplicemente frapposto un tester impostato come amperometro con fondoscala 10Ah tra l'alimentatore dell'eeepc e il portatilino stesso. Ecco il collegamento pericolante... Contatto! Prima cosa da notare: l'aggeggio consuma un po' di corrente anche da spento. L'avevo già notato sentendolo lievemente tiepido una volta che avevo lasciato l'alimentatore attaccato tutto il pomeriggio (ovviamente senza batteria). Speriamo non lo faccia anche quando lo si manda a batteria :AAAAH: Ad un ritmo di 50mAh in meno di 4 giorni spento tirerebbe giu una batteria carica Comunque... LCD 100% WIFI Sì CPU 900Mhz LOAD Idle LCD 100% WIFI No CPU 900Mhz LOAD Idle Sembra che la scheda WIFI abbia un enorme influenza sul consumo di corrente... è la cosa che più di tutte fa risparmiare se spenta. Si risparmia veramente con l'LCD solo se lo si tiene al minimissimo. LCD minimo WIFI No CPU 630Mhz LOAD Idle Questa è la configurazione di risparmio energetico automatica dell'eeepc: se lo si avvia senza alimentatore parte a 630Mhz invece che 900Mhz. LCD minimo WIFI No CPU 450Mhz LOAD Idle Benché non fosse previsto dall'Asus, ho notato che si può portare giu il processore fino a 450Mhz stabile abbassando la FSB. Ho scritto un programmino (che appena ho l'eeepc acceso allegherò in un messaggio in questo topic) che fa lo sporco lavoro intuitivamente con un doppio click sotto Ubuntu, Xubuntu e varie derivate. Si riesce a ridurre un altro pochino il consumo: Ora qualche prova con la cpu in full load by SuperPI. LCD minimo WIFI No CPU 450Mhz LOAD Full LCD minimo WIFI No CPU 630Mhz LOAD Full LCD minimo WIFI No CPU 900Mhz LOAD Full Ed infine un test di stress totale della macchina: LCD 100% WIFI Sì CPU 900Mhz LOAD Full (CPU by SuperPI, GPU by glxgears) Tocchiamo una punta di consumo massimo di 1,60Ah. Se qualcuno fosse curioso di sapere il consumo in watt basta moltiplicare il tutto per 12, che è il voltaggio di alimentazione. Infine, vi ricordo che 1Ah all'alimentatore non corrisponde ad 1Ah alla batteria, perché la tensione è diversa. In particolare, 1Ah a 12v è [1Ah*12v=12w], equivalente a [12w/7.4v=1.62Ah] a batteria. penguin86 Posted February 8, 2009 Share Posted February 8, 2009 Siccome non ho più avuto modo di accendere l'eeepc (e non ne avrò per un po' causa forsennato studio ) ho deciso di tirarlo fuori e pubblicare questo file prima che anche l'eee diventi retrocomputing Installazione Dopo aver eseguito lo script che che vi eee-izza la vostra (x)Ubuntu avete gia tutto quello che vi serve, basta scompattare l'archivio nella vostra home o dove vi pare. Il programmino si avvia facendo doppio click sull'apposita icona. Macinerà qualche decina di secondi prima di dare un avviso, quindi non abbiate fretta di ri-avviarlo. La prima volta che viene avviato vi tira giu la CPU a 450Mhz, la seconda ve la riporta a 630 (standard a batteria). È compatibile col programmino Overclock installato dallo script eee-izzatore o gia presente nella vostra distro (se non altro perché è lui modificato ). Se non avete eeeizzato la vostra distro, tenete conto che dovete avere almeno il modulo eee installato e caricato. Tralaltro per il web e multimedia questo procio rende veramente un casino! Con flash in effetti è un po' lentino, se sei a batteria va leggermente a scatti in full screen, se sei a corrente elettrica invece va fluido. L'unica cosa che potresti notare sono i tempi d'avvio un po' più lenti (sempre nell'ordine di poche decine di secondi). Ricorda di seguire la guida che ti avevo consigliato, ne gioverà la vita dei tuoi SSD Poi, a chi interessasse... sono riuscito a portare la CPU a 990Mhz (non riesco ad abbattere il muro del Ghz, diventa tremendamente instabile...). Ecco un superpi 1M (per Linux) eseguito a default, 900Mhz: End of calculation. Time= 71.872 Sec. End of data output. Time= 0.420 Sec. (considera che il 901 ha un altro chipset e un altro processore..) e poi ho visto che per ibernare correttamente bisognerebbe avere uno swap maggiore uguale alla dimensione della ram...e se io poi metto 2gb di ram??:cheazz: mi tocca fare la swap d 2gb?
