liberato87 Posted October 8, 2013 Share Posted October 8, 2013 (edited) giu te lo ripeto per l ennesima volta (e te l ha detto anche devil). è stata tirata in ballo la 7970 per fare un confronto di un ipotetica r9 290x, vs 780 che dovrebbe essere la sua sfidante, tutto qui poi ci siamo persi tra 30% e 20% ECC ma insomma quello che voleva dire devil è che la r9 290x non può andare più di tanto forte proprio perchè non è un architettura completamente nuova. la 7970 GE già era al lmite e si vede con la "nuova" r9 280x che si dimostra una 7970 occata, non ci sono stati miglioramenti nè sull overclock nè sui consumi. appunto la sfida vera è tra r9 290x, si dice che l nda scade il 15 ottobre. i prezzi alti mi fanno ben sperare, cioè che vada molto forte. Confido tanto in questa 290x per rivedere amd tirare fuori una vga di prima fascia dopo tanto tempo a mente l'ultima vera buona vga che ha fatto amd è stata la 5870... Poi io non sto qua a fare discorsi da fanboy, esprimo solo quello che penso. liberato87 Posted October 8, 2013 Share Posted October 8, 2013 Lo spero anche io pur avendo i miei dubbi (mi ha un po' deluso la 280x, so che è un rebrand però non hanno migliorato niente.. Si vede che il chip era ormai al limite; di contro la 770 è stato un"buon" rebrand migliorando performance e consumi. Insomma sui 300 o meno é un ottima scheda!! In some cases the 290X pulls a relatively nice lead over the 780 OC, in a few it sits a bit behind a reference 780. As I said, the price will have to be right. The $729.99 seen on Newegg is too much, the performance doesn't justify a premium over the 780. The 780 OC being faster than a stock TITAN and the 290X bring so close to the 780 pretty much puts the nails in the coffin for the TITAN, though. People should stop comparing ANYTHING to the TITAN, with a high price, low margins to AIB partners and very tight control as to what can and can't be done, most AIBs have 780s which are both faster and cheaper than the TITAN. e ancora Don't hold your breath for a 290X OC...
