Labview Posted June 5, 2012 Share Posted June 5, 2012 Ciao ragazzuoli... Ho deciso di rifarmi il NAS (non il naso) e quindi colgo l'occasione per coinvolgervi nel mio progetto. Parto da zero o quasi con il materiale hardware ma dato che non voglio influenzare i vostri consigli, per il momento non dico niente. Giustamente così sarebbe troppo vago e quindi vorrei focalizzare il progetto su alcuni punti fondamentali: Il sistema operativo "FreeNas" oppure "Openfiler", mi vanno bene entranbi. Processore di media potenza su qualsiasi piattaforma ATX o M-ATX Ram superiore a 8 Gb Minimo 2 NIC Raid con buone prestazioni e ottima sicurezza Costo? Lo valuteremo alla fine... Per il momento penso basti questo per darvi un idea sulle possibili configurazioni da ottenere. Sono certo che non mancherete nei consigli e spero che questo serva come aiuto per i meno esperti. Il case è già nell'armadio , l'ho preso tempo fà, ora ho deciso di sostituire i componenti interni. P.S: L'altre notte ho fatto dei test con hardware di recupero e dopo vari smadonnamenti con openfiler ho toccato i 180Mb/s di picco nel trasferimento file... Labview Posted June 10, 2012 Author Share Posted June 10, 2012 Raga ieri ho avuto un problema con le ram... , probabilmente le devo sostituire perchè si sono rilevate incompatibili. Sono tornato dal fornitore ed ho restituito (temporaneamente) mobo, cpu e ram così che possano testare delle altre ram, il tutto mi verrà riconsegnato sabato prossimo, quindi attendiamo gli sviluppi. Nota: Dato che i tecnici non capivano quale fosse il problema, ho dovuto fargli un piccolo corso "AMI Bios Debug" e spiegargli che i Beep sono cambiati con l'avvento di UEFI. Il mio errore in questione è questo: 5 short + 1 long beeps - Memory error - No memory detected in the memory slots. Appena sistemo il tutto aggiornero anche il Thread di beep nella sezione schede madri. @Leo Ho abbandonato Asus perchè supermicro (specifica per server) ha delle funzionalità in più che mi servono, a partire dalle 3 LAN... Mi hanno detto che serve la ram Unbuffered memory (or unregistered memory), a differenza di quella che mi hanno dato che è registered memory, il tutto sempre ECC si intende.
