  3. Dopo aver completato la linea di schede grafiche della famiglia R7, AMD aggiunge anche un nuovo prodotto alla famiglia già allargata delle Raadeon R9 series: la AMD Radeon R9 280. Sulla falsariga della Radeon R9 280X, la R9 280 fornisce ai videogiocatori la potenza per apprezzare a pieno i gli ultimi giochi usciti alla risoluzione di 1080p.

(cit), no, non proprio. Il videogame fa parte del programma AMD Gaming Evolved, quindi i driver appena usciti vanno proprio a migliorare le performance sul reboot di Thief.

  6. Dopo i vari aggiornamenti che gli ultimi driver beta 12.11 hanno avuto, AMD rilascia finalmente in versione stabile i nuovi Catalyst 13.1 per le famiglie Radeon HD 7000, HD 6000 e HD 5000. Oltre alle varie migliorie prestazionali per l'ultima serie HD 7000, sia per desktop che mobile, e per i vari bug fix, è stata modificata anche la pagina relativa alle impostazioni 3D del CCC, per avere un miglior controllo dei setting.

L'SSD Cache viene associato a un HDD ad alta capacità di memorizzazione, in modo da sfruttare i tempi di accesso quasi nulli delle unità con memorie Flash e lo storage dell'unità meccanica da dedicare alle installazioni del sistema operativo e relativi software.
