Grazie per le informazioni, e se invece opto per un SSD senza sandforce? cosa mi consigli?

e ma che sfiga!!! è proprio una Asus.... Bimbolo prova ad accendere il pc con dentro il DVD asus (quello in dotazione con la mobo), in automatico dovrebbe ripristinare il bios tramite l'utility "ASUS CrashFree BIOS 3". Questa operazione può richiedere alcuni minuti, controlla sul libretto se c'è riportata qualche istruzione. In alternativa riprova ad accendere in pc con la chiavetta inserita, sulla chiavetta ci deve essere solo il file bios. Questo è un video dimostrativo di come funziona il "ASUS CrashFree BIOS 3":

Please refer to our website at: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- CPU Support Sul libretto sono riportate le varie soluzioni per aggiornare il bios, quella con windows è la più facile però è anche la più instabile e quindi onde evitare brutte sorprese è sempre meglio evitare il sistema operativo. L'utility da bios si chiama EZ Flash

Avrei intenzione di prendere 2 GT da 240 GB a settembre o è meglio attendere i GS?

Non saprei da che parte cominciare...

Diciamo che al 90% dei casi dopo l'aggiornamento del bios si torna a default e vengono persi anche i profili, anzi è sempre meglio impostare il default prima dell'aggiornamento onde evitare problemi, specialmente se si è in OC.

La cosa importante è che non aggiorni sotto win ma tramite utility bios o dos, leggi il libretto

Secondo me è una bufala, quel procio è un ES bulldozer e non piledriver...

Ieri sera ho testato il tutto, anzi ho già modificato tutto Purtroppo non permette di selezionare il profilo AMP se le ram non lo supportano, servono ram certificate. Modificando il bios posso selezionare il profilo, però il sistema non botta perchè le corsair dominator che utilizzo non digeriscono proprio questo profilo. Conclusione: 1) Servono ram certificate AMD AMP 2) In entrambe i profili (XMP & AMP) la frequenza massima è stata incrementata fino a 2400MHz 3) Come tutti i Bios delle Fatal1ty posso solo dire che è compilato in modo eccellente Appena mi sarà possibile vedrò di recuperare delle ram certificate per proseguire nei test, magari abbinate ad un nuovo FX (Pile...) :perfido:

Oggi è stato rilasciato un nuovo bios 890GX_Extreme4(1.10) (30-07-2012) Update CPU code. Stessa versione del precedente 1.10 rilascato il 02-10-2011 però quello di oggi ha il microcode aggiornato. Non ho capito perchè hanno mantenuto lo stesso numero...

Arrivano i primi dati ma siamo ancora sotto NDA e quindi aspettimo...

Bene sono felice che hai risolto, visto che hai un procio che ti permette il boot prova ad aggiornare il bios all'ultima versione e poi vedi se funziona con il tuo procio.
