AlphaAXP Posted September 21, 2011 Share Posted September 21, 2011 Si tanto come muletto ho il 775 6 core mi stuzzicano parecchio:n2mu: che differenza ci puo' essere tra la UD5 e la UD7:cheazz: semplicemnte che sulla sorella maggiore hai 6*PCI-E 2.0 x16 (4*x8, 2*x4) 4way CrossFireX/SLI sulla UD5 "solo" 5*PCI-E 2.0 x16 (3*x8, 2*x4) 3way CrossFireX/SLI poi qualcosa nel layout, forse nei mosfet, altre piccole cose tipo tastini per il reset cmos, ecc... AlphaAXP Posted September 21, 2011 Share Posted September 21, 2011 a bhe per cosi poco ho cercato di riassumere un pò la cosa, le differenze/mancanze rispetto alla UD7 dovrebbero essere queste: We also did not find a LLC (Load Line Calibration) that eliminates Vdroop when overclocking but when we tortured the motherboard and cranked it up, our voltages were actually higher than the BIOS setting. There was no Vdroop to hold us back. Lastly, the lack of ON/OFF, Reset and Clear CMOS switches are unfortunate, particularly for overclocking junkies that typically use tech stations and appreciate the convenience of these button. No debug LED. OC Required More Voltage Than Comparable Boards. Found HT limitation approaching 300Mhz HT.
