Anche secondo me è il bios che ha un bug, dai un occhiata quì: Intel Core-iX boards magari trovi altri col tuo stesso problema. Certo che il supporto bios di MSI è veramente scarso, non è possibile che escludendo la prima release nelle due successive abbia aggiornato solo il modulo principale senza specificare correzzioni ed eventuali bug, sono così bravi?

per un paio di minuti puoi provare anche senza pasta termica non succede niente, l'importante è che monti il dissipatore.

per accendere la mobo serve per forza almeno la cpu con il dissipatore altrimenti va a 80 gradi dopo un minuto, della ram ne puoi fare a meno. se non parte, hai fottuto la mobo.

è molto improbabile che i pin erano già piegati... secondo me ci hai schiacciato sotto qualche oggetto strano es. plastica comunque se hai la mano ferma e ti attrezzi di una micro pinzetta la puoi recuperare e molto probabilmente ripartirà.

Potrebbe essere l'alimentatore che va a colpi

C'è una voce: Memory Fast Boot (Enables or disables the initiation and training for memory every booting) Prova a disabilitare tale funzione

Se non si accende il display "debug" il problema è serio... Prova con un modulo ram per volta, altrimenti potrebbe essere l'alimentatore.

Senza cpu o ram la mobo non parte perchè il bios non completa il ciclo di inizializzazione e va in blocco.

Non puoi tramite live per vari motivi, in primis perchè il controller della scheda madre è un Fake Raid. Se proprio ti serve accedere al raid tramite ubuntu leggi quì: Installazione/FakeRaid0Windows - Wiki di ubuntu-it

Mi sa tanto che un modulo ram sia andato... Ti consiglio provare memtest per verificare le ram.
