j0h Posted June 13, 2012 Share Posted June 13, 2012 Normalmente quando si parla di RAID l'utente comune pensa a due Hard disk interfacciati tramite scheda madre, ma nel mercato professionale la scheda madre viene spesso sostituita da un vero e proprio controller esterno. La scheda MegaRAID della LSI che andremo a recensire di seguito rappresenta una via di mezzo tra le soluzioni professionali e quelle più comuni, in grado di garantire features e prestazioni di alto livello anche in sistemi che per loro natura non supportano nativamente queste funzione. Parliamo in primo luogo di connessioni Sata e SAS 6 GB/s con supporto a tutte le più comuni configurationi RAID possibili. Andiamo dunque a scoprire il controller a 4 porte LSI MegaRAID SAS 9240-4i.
