Ho appena montato due nvidia 9800gt una da 512mb e una da 1gb su una mobo asus p5n-d. vengono rilevate entrambe dal sistema ma quando vado ad attivare lo sli sul pannello di controlli nvidia in impostazioni 3D non trovo la voce che fa riferimento all'attivazione sli. devo attivare qualcosa dal bios? se si cosa? sono nelle vostre mani aiutatemi! When purchasing a second graphics card, you should try to match the memory size so that you are ensured full value and performance from your purchase. For example, if your first card is a GeForce 6600 GT with 128MB of memory, you should purchase a second GeForce 6600 GT with 128MB of memory. However, using Coolbits (value set to 18), you can force both of the cards to use the lower of the two memory sizes and operate together in SLI mode. When dissimilar memory sizes are enabled to work together using Coolbits, the effective memory size for each card becomes the smaller of the two memory sizes. Instructions to enable this feature can be found here. How to Enable Coolbits" andando però a leggere la sopracitata faq è stata modificata in "Can I mix and match graphics cards with different sizes of memory? No. For example, an XXXGT 512MB cannot be paired with a XXXGT 1GB in an SLI configuration." tempqwert Posted February 11, 2011 Author Share Posted February 11, 2011 Grazie a tutti ragazzi ho risolto. la gestione della memoria delle schede va "abilitata" e uguagliata modificando il registro del sistema con un paio di semplicissime mosse. ora però è sorto un nuovo problema: la gpu che sta sopra scalda molto di più di quella sotto, non dovrebbe essere il contrario? arriva oltre 50 gradi quando il computer NON è sotto sforzo, e per farla stare sulla quarantina ho dovuto puntargli una ventola contro. cosa potrebbe essere? come posso risolvere?
