But after my lab test, the P35’s OC performance is a bit better than X38… Although there are some rumors on the internet that X38 and X48 is almost the same, but X48 is something good after sorting. Anyhow, X48 is the highest-end chipset in 2008, which is the utmost chipset that supports PCIe-2.0 and PCIe x16. As the case of P35 and X38 motherboard, X48 should be having both DDR2 and DDR3 version. Although the price of DDR3 module is decreasing since 2008, but DDR2 module is still the best-buy product in the market. In my personal opinion, DDR2 is still the mainstream product in market for the moment. This time, I got DFI LANParty DK X48-T2RS for a test. The Dark(DK) series, almost has the same capability in overclocking and incorporates with quality component.
