dj883u2 Posted March 5, 2008 Share Posted March 5, 2008 AMD approfitta del CeBIT per mostrare alla stampa Shanghai e Deneb, le versioni server e desktop della sua prossima CPU quad core a 45nm, prodotta nella Fab 36 di Dresda su dei wafer da 300mm. AMD approfitta dell'occasione per rimarcare il rapporto "performance per watt" dei suoi futuri processori e non sulle performance, segno che anche questi nuovi processori non potranno tenere testa ai modello Intel sulla fascia alta del mercato. Attesi per il secondo semestre del 2008, queste CPU si dotano di una cache L2 da 512 KB per core e di una cache L3 pcondivissa di 6 MB. Compatibili con il Socket AM2+, supporteranno la memoria DDR2.
