In azienda abbiamo questo problema: il Mac Pro con il quale lavoro, non può essere aggiornato al Lion perchè, se lo facessi, perderei le stampanti di rete (2) che sono vecchie e non hanno i driver aggiornabili, difatti utilizzo il sitema 10.5.8 perchè, se non sbaglio, è l'ultimo ad avere l'Apple Talk? Il Mac G4 che mi fa da Rip di stampa è collegato direttamente alla vecchia fotounità, ma al momento non è connesso in rete con il Mac Pro e gli altri due PC. Il Mac Pro e i due Pc sono in rete mediante il router di Fastweb, il quale è connesso ad un ethernet switch al quale è connesso anche il Mac G4. Come posso fare per far vedere le due stampanti ethernet a tutti i PC utilizzando sempre il RIP Panther (gira solo su MAC OS 9) nel Mac G4?! Saluti e grazie. tom1 Posted October 4, 2012 Share Posted October 4, 2012 reinstalla chrome, comunque il problema è che le stampanti o device per i mac spesso non vengono supportati alle nuove versioni, specialmente se le aziende chiudono o vengono inglobate. Il problema è un altro purtroppo: mi hanno comprato la Adobe Suite CS6 e non gira sul 10.5! :( Ho trovato un RIP Arlequin che dovrebbe risolvere ma deve venire il tecnico della fotounità. Così ho scaricato Firefox e mi ha dato lo stesso problema; l'unico che andava alla grande era Google Chrome ma ora pure questo... Grazie, ciao. Oggi a lezione ho imparato ad installare linux in vari modi: su chiavetta, come macchina virtuale, come sistema affiancato a windows. Questa soluzione mi ha fatto ripensare al problema delle stampanti in rete, o meglio, della stampante che mi da più problemi perchè è più vecchia. Quindi pensavo: e se installassi il Mac OS X Lion (quanto costa?) di sana pianta e usassi il Leopard solo per stampare? Si può installare come macchina virtuale senza avere un dual boot? Ma di usare Parallels che un programma come VMWARE per ambienti Windows che ti virtualizza nel desktop del mac un nuovo sistema operativo. Ho messo tutte le stampanti in rete e, se le condivido da Mac, le vedono i 2 pc + i due mac ma, se non le condivido, una di esse, la GCC, sparisce. Eppure gli ho cambiato l'IP perchè era sbagliato: la rete è formata da 192.168.1.xxx mentre la stampante era 192.168.0.4 Come posso fare? Grazie, saluti.
