La SR-X supporta i nuovi processori Xeon LGA 2011 a 32nm, conosciuti anche con il nome di Sandy Bridge-EP, permettendo configurazioni con fino a 16 core fisici e 32 logici e fino a 96GB di RAM sugli 12 slot a disposizione.
