Redazione di XtremeHardwar Posted July 14, 2010 Share Posted July 14, 2010 Dopo ben 2 anni Nvidia ha finalmente ammesso che PhysX non é ben ottimizzato per le cpu x86 usando un codice quasi "approssimativo", usando istruzioni e operazioni x87 floating point apposta delle SSE. AMD, da parecchi anni, lotta contro questa mal getsione del codice Nvidia e messa ormai agli stretti, il colosso di Santa Clara ha dichiarato ufficialmente che non ha lavorato abbastanza sull'ottimizzazione di PhysX per le cpu X86, rimasto ai tempi dell'acquisizione di AGEIA, avvenuta nel lontano 2004.
