dj883u2 Posted December 5, 2007 Share Posted December 5, 2007 La Microsoft rilascia un Hotfix,(KB945149) che promette di migliorare le prestazioni non soddisfacenti che si presentano con alcuni giochi e benchmark sotto Windows Vista. Microsoft ha dichiarato che il problema di queste prestazioni non soddisfacenti è il seguente: "A graphics processing unit (GPU) or part of a GPU link may incur a small scheduling latency on a new Direct Memory Access (DMA) packet. This is true if the DMA packet is submitted to the GPU that has previously run out of work and if another GPU in the linked configuration is very busy. In some scenarios, significant starvation of one or more GPUs in the linked configuration reduces the expected performance of an application". Il fix non è liberamente scaricabile, ma è possibile richiederlo nel servizio clienti online di Microsoft, disponibile a questo: https://support.microsoft.com/contactus2/emailcontact.aspx?scid=sw;%5bLN%5d;1414&from=KBHotfix&WS=hotfix Microsoft ha inosltre dichiarato che questo hotfix sarà incluso anche nel prossimo Service Pack 1 per Windows Vista. Smith Posted December 5, 2007 Share Posted December 5, 2007 Quello che mi sono chiesto io, evidentemente Microsoft come ha sempre cercato di fare, vuole accetarsi di rivendere o aggiornare un prodotto solo se questo è originale, basti pensare a quando vuoi scaricare qualcosa dal sito di MS, prima c'è il WGA da scaricare, mah...
