Futuremark ha rilasciato "PCMark Vantage", il nuovo programma di test che si prefigge di misurare le prestazioni dell'intero sistema. Il download è di circa 670 MByte. Requisiti: * 800 MByte di spazio su hard disk; * Altri 800 MByte sono richiesti durante l'esecuzione del programma; * Una CPU moderna con supporto SSE2; * Scheda video con supporto Shader model 2.0 per eseguire i test game; * Scheda video con supporto Shader model 3.0 per eseguire i test "image manipulation"; * Microsoft Windows Vista. A seconda del tipo di licenza acquistata è possibile accedere a vari livelli di funzionalità, di seguito dettagliate: 1)The PCMark Vantage Basic Edition $6.95: - Unlimited number of test runs; - PCMark Test Suite; - Network connection required to view results; - Licensed for non-commercial and Personal Use only. 2)The PCMark Vantage Advanced Edition $19.95 (Download Price): - All Test Suites enabled; - Advanced online services; - Licensed for non-commercial and Personal Use only. 3)PCMark Vantage Professional $495.00/seat (download or CD-ROM): - All Advanced version features; - Full benchmark settings; - Technical support; - View results without network connection; - Benchmark automation with command line options; - Export results to Microsoft Excel; - Licensed for Full Commercial Use. Resta sempre possibile utilizzare il Software in versione trial, senza quindi pagare nulla a Futuremark benché questo permetta di usufruire solo di una parte limitata delle funzionalità implementate. MM Posted October 20, 2007 Share Posted October 20, 2007 Beh.. è per avvaolare la versione ufficiale di MS che dice che le vendite di Vista sono alle stelle.... mentre i numeri "non ufficiali" parlano del più grosso flop della storia MS (addirittura peggio di ME) La realtà è che l'utenza in generale di Vista non ne sente il bisogno per cui adesso vengono fuori i PC con garanzia solo abbinata a Vista o programmi che girano solo su Vista, senza contare "l'uscita di produzione" di XP, e altre menate per imporre questo passaggio Io credo che se fosse stato implementato, migliorato e pienamente supportato W2000, adesso avremmo un SO stabile e affidabile, ma questo ovviamente cozza con le politiche commerciali dell'"usa e getta" che rendono molto di più... in fondo basta cambiare le "figurine" e i colori e molti corrono Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
