Bene era oramai da un po' di tempo che non prendevo un nuovo masterizzatore
e quindi mi sono deciso a provare questo liteon sata, sono curioso di vedere come si comporta. Features ha scritto:

fb=FastBurn:FastBurn uses the higher burn RPM for 8x and 12x burning with both +R and -R media. Now the xxA1x drives can do 12x burning typically in less than 6:30, which is even faster than the 5S and 6S drives.
oes=Enhanced OverSpeed:
Enhanced OverSpeed allows DVD+R and DVD-R media to be burned at, up to, 16x. 20A1x firmwares also allows all 16x media to be burned at, up to, 20x. Please understand that because this speed is offered, it does not necessarily mean that it will burn successfully at this speed. You will need to experiment to see what the highest successful burn speed for your media is. If you are using applications that don't allow you to set the burn speed, then I suggest you don't uses the version with Enhanced OverSpeed, "-eos" in the file name.

Uso di smart-burn ha scritto:

In questo modo, è possibile scrivere tutti i supporti presenti sul mercato.
- OS (Overspeed): è la funzione che consente di scrivere ad una velocità superiore rispetto a quella di certificazione del supporto. in questo modo, sarà possibile scrivere a 8x i supporti certificati 4, a 12x quelli certificati 8x e così via.
- OHT (Online Hyper Tuning): è l'ultima invenzione da parte di LiteOn, assimilata probabilmente dall'acquisizione di Benq. E' infatti simile alla tecnica WOPC, e consente di variare in tempo reale la potenza del laser e modificare la strategia di scrittura, tutto questo durante la masterizzazione. Questa funzionalità è disponibile solamente con gli ultimi firmware e con la versione di test di SMART-BURN.

Eccoti un primo test
prima devo dire però che ho cambiato firmware in quanto quello che c'era su di fabbrica mi dava dei risultati un po' "anomali" :cheazz: diciamo ora ho messo su il 9L05 by Codeking :perfido:Per le scansioni torno un po' all'antico, se si può dire, quindi farò i test incrociati come piace a giucasa :n2mu: mi ci vorrà un po' di tempo.
Programmi usati per le scansioni:
CD/DVD Speed - Kprobe - Plextool
Drive usati:
Liteon 165P6S e Plextor 716SA
Teniamo sempre presente che questi masterizzatori per rendere al meglio con un tipo di supporto hanno bisogno di almeno di 5/6 dvd per affinare la strategia di scrittura

Lo sto testando Anto, non sono ancora del tutto convinto della sua bontà, tra le altre cose è un periodo che masterizzo poco e questo non mi aiuta a valutarlo per bene.
Cmq la prima impressione è positiva

Eccone un altro stessi settaggi e stesso Media ID del supporto, il risultato è un po' peggiore per la quantità di PIF ma nel complesso il risultato è ottimo
Ora dopo aver fatto solo 5 dvd la prima impressione è quella che questo masterizzatore è molto valido
