Wii sarà disponibile in Europa dal 8 dicembre al prezzo di 249 Euro. Come nel caso dell'edizione americana sarà presente il gioco Wii Sports Saranno tra 15 e 20 i giochi che Nintendo proporrà al lancio della nuova console Wii. I primi giochi disponibili citati nella conferenza saranno Red Steel, Rayman, Need for Speed Carbon, Tony Hawk, Super Monkey Ball, il prezzo oscillerà tra i 49 e i 59 Euro Com'era facile immaginarsi, i prezzi europei degli accessori per la console Nintendo Wii riflettono quelli per il mercato statunitense, unica differenza il simbolo della moneta utilizzata. Il Wii Remote Controller sarà disponibile dai giorni di lancio al prezzo di 39 Euro, a cui sarà possibile collegare un Nunchuk venduto a 19 Euro. Nintendo's Wii won the head-to-head battle for Japan against its rival, the Sony PlayStation 3, according to Reuters via Japanese magazine Enterbrain. The article in the magazine claims that 989,118 Wiis were sold in Japan between the console's December 2 launch through the end of the year. Sony, on the other hand, reportedly sold 466,716 PS3s in Japan between that system's launch on November 11 and the end of December. The Enterbrain information also suggests that Sony may have missed its PS3 shipment targets at the cost of its home country. Earlier this week, Sony announced that it had shipped 1 million PS3s to North America--half of what the company had planned to ship worldwide by the end of the year--only by diverting stock from Japan. With less than 500,000 units sold in Japan in 2006, Reuters infers Sony did not meet its target of 2 million units shipped through the end of the year, a target that was recently "within reach," according to Sony, as recently as mid-December. Smith Posted March 25, 2007 Share Posted March 25, 2007 Apprezzo moltissimo questa console, intanto perchè il prezzo è molto convieniente, è una vera console nel senso che si mantiene su delle linee essenziali, che non dovrebbero mai essere superate. Quindi rimane una console della vecchia scuola se vogliamo. Mi piace il fatto che Nintendo abbia voluto provare un nuovo genere, una console diversa da tutte le altre.
