Ciao Come Tom1 ha detto nel primo post. dovresti cambiare le ventole da quelli stock (sono abastanza silenziosi a frequenza bassa, ma quando vanno veloce... ), alle ventole nuove corsair, pressione statica. forse sono un po in ritardo per commentare ma visto che l'ho qua accanto a me la H80 volevo farti sapere dalla mia esperienza. poi i tubi che vanno dal pump al radiator sono duri ma MOLTO flessibile allo stesso tempo e sembrano anche molto forti, io fin ora non ho avuto nessun problema metendolo in qualsiasi setup. qui nel mio thread sto cercando dei risultati confrontando le ventole stock con quelli nuovi. quindi se avete qualche informazione fammi sapere! http://www.xtremehardware.com/forum/f13/new_corsair_fan_question_h80-33687/

Hello, Has anyone been able to test out the new Corsair fans both quiet edition and performance edition to see the temperature diffrences and the sound diffrence compared to the stock H80 fans? The noise that these stock fans with the cooler make when it kicks into high gear is kind of driving me nuts... + Something else that I've been wondering which probably won't have a big impact in either setting. having a static pressure on the push through and an airflow on the pull away would perform better, worse, or the same as static static. Thanks in advance.

UPDATED: EDITED turns out Sapphire likes to put their LLC options backwards to confuse you! Here are my new GOOD settings, I mean I bought this board on purpose lol.... :perfido: now thats more like it! oh yeah I was stable at 4ghz 1.2vcore flat. Target CPU frequency- 4200mhz Target memory frequency- 1600mhz Cpu freq- 200 Cpu Ratio- 21 Memory frequency- DDR-1066 2:8 Memory timing- By DDR 1600mhz 9-9-9-24-2t Uncore- slight oc to x18 PCIE frequency 101 Vcore- 1.2875 VDIM- 1.65 CPU VTT- 1.35 IOH- 1.3 QPI PLL- 1.35 LLC- DISABLED :bang head All powersaving options disabled Max load temp in P95- 75c

Yep I'm pretty sure it is the chip as well, highest vcore i've seen needed for even a 4.3ghz oc which is higher then mine with a I7 950 on my motherboard is a 1.3875, most others were 1.31-1.35 This chip really just doesn't care what voltage I throw at it.. It just says give me more vcore.... -_- luckily my temperatures are ok, but i really wanted to optimize.

so here are the exact settings on everything cpu 200x21 =4200 ram 2:8 to achieve 1600mhz 9-9-9-24-2t qpi - 4.800gt link speed full speed pcie freq 103 Uncore x16 or x18 all powersaving off voltages LLC 100% CPUVcore- 1.3875 (which should be more than enough for 4,2ghz on d0 step i7 950) DIMM- 1.65 CPU VTT 1.35 IOH Vcore- 1.3 QPI PLL 1.35 IOH/ICH IO voltage- auto CPU PLL vcore- stock is 1,8 tried bringing up to 1.9 and 2.0 didnt see a diffrence, at 1.6 i saw a slight change but it might have just been a flook ICH vcore- auto DIM DQ VREF- auto i've changed every setting possible now, so I'm starting to think this chip just won't accept anything under 1.45vcore. which would suck because that means my highest possible OC is a 4,4ghz before voltages start to become dangerous.

Hey, my qpi/dram is called CPU VTT which i currently have set at 1.3, the safe voltage for i7 950 CPU VTT is 1.45 before it actually needs a specific cooler for it. I'm personally not having any trouble at getting stable 4.2ghz or even 4.8ghz, its just the fact that it wants alot more vcore than it actually should. and it would be nice to bring it down or get more speed from the current setting. I will list to you all of my voltage possibilities LLC CPUVcore DIMM CPU VTT IOH Vcore QPI PLL IOH/ICH IO voltage CPU PLL vcore ICH vcore DIM DQ VREF

I can get 3.6ghz with about 1.25-1.275 3.8ghz 1.3-1.325 anything beyond 3.8ghz wants alot of voltage. upping IOH to 1.3 and pcie to 103 I was able to stress test 4.2ghz for a short period of time, which is a bit of an improvement. with vcore 1.3875

Ok I'm back already, this cpu does not like 20x multi XD 20x multi=crash at 1.45v 21x multi=crash at 1.3875 with longer time before crash.
