Ciao a tutti

Scrivo perché finalmente, dopo aver acquistato 2 schede madri e 2 CPU (devo ancora ricevere i rimborsi) sono riuscito a far funzionare il pc!!! :briai:

Approfitto per chiedervi un paio di cose: questi voltaggi sono accettabili, non sono troppo alti? È la prima volta che tocco un BIOS (pardon, UEFI) di un Core i7, non so che valori non superare... Se mi faceste sapere anche qualche valore soglia, oltre il quale è meglio non andare, ve ne sarei grato

Già, non ne potevo più :muro: ... L'unico problema è che l'IFX 14 non è compatibile e ora sto usando il dissipatore stock Intel... Poco male, comprerò un Noctua D14 o qualcosa del genere, a sto punto non sono più gli 80€ del dissipatore che mi preoccupano

La scheda madre, di default, metteva il PLL a 1.83v... non è troppo?

Le RAM vanno bene anche a 1.65v come per i precedenti Core i7 socket 1366 (gli ultimi processori che ho overcloccato) oppure non devo superare gli 1.5v per non danneggiare CPU o Mobo? Le ram che ho sono certificate 1600MHz Cas 7 1.65v.

Un'ultima piccola curiosità: quali sono i voltaggi che influenzano le possibilità a frequenze "basse" (sotto i 4.5GHz), oltre il vcore?

Prometto che leggerò tutte le guide del caso sull'OC di questi nuovi mostriciattoli, però avere già una base non è male...

Per il PLL no, le ram mi sa che conviene che prendi delle 1,5 anche se non dovrebbero creare troppi problemi quelle che hai.

Un'ultima piccola curiosità: quali sono i voltaggi che influenzano le possibilità a frequenze "basse" (sotto i 4.5GHz), oltre il vcore?

Dopo l'iniziale sconforto dovuto al bundle della mia nuova Z77 Extreme4, che è praticamente nullo (appena 2 cavi SATA, tra l'altro molto corti, e poche, pochissime altre cose strettamente indispensabili), devo ammettere che le prime impressioni su questa scheda sono buone: il BIOS è chiaro, ben organizzato e molto completo, e il software AXTU è davvero utile.

Anche il layout della scheda è decisamente comodo, molto migliore della mia precedente scheda Gigabyte: sono ottimi l'orientamento dei connettori SATA e la disposizione dei pin per il pannello anteriore.

Il mio esemplare nasce con il bios v.1.30, ho notato che sono uscite molte nuove release: conviene aggiornare all'ultima oppure ce ne sono alcune da evitare?
