Non fare il Fanboy Ati. :)La concorrenza avvantaggia tutti. Quindi speriamo che Fermi arrivi il prima possibile e vadi molto ma molto forte!

No Antonio ci mancherebbe non faccio il fanboy ATI, volevo solo esprimere la mia soddisfazione per la mia scheda video per cui per adesso non m'interessa ne Fermi ne qualunque altra scheda video ATI
Però di certo dopo tutto ciò che si è sentito dire su Fermi non sarei così tanto propenso all'aquisto... fu così anche prima di comprare la 5970 che per me era stata castrata troppo, poi però quando ho capito che il voltaggio della gpu era stato abbassato ma poteva benissimo essere portato come la 5870 allora l'acquistai subito
p.s: secondo me per ristabilire bene l'equilibrio nVidia ha bisogno di sprofondare ancora parecchio... Fermi non basterà per portare la concorrenza a soglie accettabili...

Non arrivano belle notizie.....
Secondo il sito SemiAccurate la GTX 480, in media, finirà per essere solo il 5% più veloce della HD 5870 a risoluzioni elevate.
La GTX 470 non è stato testata in queste valutazioni interne, e sarà certamente finire più lento rispetto a HD 5870.

If this sounds unethical to you, it is, and it's not the first time. This is exactly what Nvidia did to cut Anand, Kyle and several others out of the GTS250 at launch. That worked out so well the last time that Nvidia will probably try it again. Expect fireworks when some people realize that they have been cut out for telling the truth.

The end result is that the GTX480 is simply not fast enough to deliver a resounding win in anything but the most contrived benchmark scenarios. It is well within range of a mildly upclocked HD5870, which is something that ATI can do pretty much on a whim. The GTX480 can barely beat the second fastest ATI card, and it doesn't have a chance at the top.

da quello che si vede sembrerebbe che alla fine io ci abbia azzeccato.
Anche la 5870 quando fu messa in pre order dalla sapphire era a 400$, penso perciò sempre di più che la 470 starà sui 400€ e 500€ per la 480, mi sembrano più che ragionevoli se Nvidia battesse la 5870 anche con la GTX 470, se consideriamo che ATI vende la 5870 a 350-370€, una vga superiore come la GTX 470 che sia di poco o di più almeno a 400€ o poco più ci stà
L'unica differenza è che non abbasseranno i prezzi.
veramente le ultime performance indicano gtx470 sotto la hd5870 e la gtx480 sopra.
Per cui una, ammesso sia vero, gtx470 a 499€ è fuori mercato. E cmq si sa che i prezzi preorder sono gonfiati

difficile fare i conti ora...specialmente in euro, tra l'altro in picchiata nei confronti del dollaro...
finché non le vedi in qualche shop italiano sarà difficile da valutare con esattezza
