Hi Labview, I'm so glad to hear it! Thank you.

I want to ask you: how may I build a bios? cause I also have a z68 Fatal1ty Professional Gen3, that doesn't work when I activate the XMP profile and my memories are on dual channel. It only works on single channel (when I put my memos on A1 A2 slots and leave B1 B2 empty). I thought that was the max trfc value of "stock" bios (255), but I've tried with the bios that you build (to z68 of course), with a max trfc value over 500, and the issue still remains. I also found a lot of people with the same problem with AsRock motherboards with the z68 chipset and G.SKILL memories.

I've tried with two memory kits, both G.SKILL:

G.SKILL 2x 4GB 1866Mhz CL8 (model F3-14900CL8D-8GBXM)

G.SKILL 4x 8GB 2400Mhz CL10 (model F3-2400C10Q-32GTX)

If you point me the north, I'm sure that I can fix it (or try at least, to be sure that it's not a bios issue, cause if it's a hw issue there is nothing I can do).

Ciao Labview, ho scaricato la nuova versione bios di z77 Professional, ma dopo averla masterizzata sulla scheda (utilizzando Instant Flash), Intel ME non è stata aggiornata. Sai se esiste un modo per forzare l'aggiornamento?

1- Run MEInfo to control the version

2- Extract the firmware and rename the .bin file to ME.bin (to make it easier later on)

3- Extract the tool and go to Windows folder, copy ME.bin file alongside FWUpdLcl

4- Open a command prompt and type: FWUpdLcl -f ME.bin -allowsv

5- start your PC and run MEinfo

Ciao Ragazzi,

ho una Z77 Extreme 4m.

Da qualche giorno ho alcuni problemi :

- alcuni voci del bios sono scomparse (es. non trovo più LOAD XMP Profiles, oppure alcune opzioni sulla scheda video nel North Bridge Configuration).

- non posso utilizzare 4 moduli di ram (che ho dal 2012).

Per quanto riguarda la RAM :

Se monto i moduli 2 a 2, vengono sempre riconosciuti :
- Slot1 + Slot3
- Slot2 + Slot4

Ho fatto il seguente test :

Ho testato Banco1 e Banco2 su Slot 1 e Slot 3 : Dual channel correttamente riconosciuto -> Dopo 2h di memory test nessun errore.

Ho testato Banco1 e Banco2 su Slot 2 e Slot 4 : Dual channel correttamente riconosciuto -> Dopo 2h di memory test nessun errore.

Ho testato Banco3 e Banco4 su Slot 1 e Slot 3 : Dual channel correttamente riconosciuto -> Dopo 2h di memory test nessun errore.

Ho testato Banco3 e Banco4 su Slot 2 e Slot 4 : Dual channel correttamente riconosciuto -> Dopo 2h di memory test nessun errore.

Da questo deduco che tutti gli slot funzionano e tutti i banchi funzionano.

Se monto tutti e 4 i banchi contemporaneamente, vengono riconosciuti solo 8 Gb (Slot2 e Slot4) e il MEMTEST da un sacco di errori.

Ho eseguito i seguenti azioni :

- clear CMOS (eseguito 5 volte)
- rimozione batteria bios
- disconnesso tutte le periferiche USB
- disconnesso tutte le perifiche SATA

BIOS corrotto ? Perchè alcune voci sono sparite ? Devo provare a fare un Reflash (avevo la 1.8 e oggi ho aggiornato alla 1.9) ma niente da fare.
