Mod'n Roll: dextiny

Nice up! Anyway, is it stable? I seems to me that the new piece you added could compromise the balance. Am I wrong?

Am I wrong? Thanks, yes it is... as you can see in this pic... this setting doesn't affect the balance... I tend to design with gravity in mind... the 2 big X don't let the chassis lean to the front or back

Great.

Small Update...

Stay tuned for more!

well done

Today was modding day so I have a bunch of pictures... I focus on the mobo tray cover... so I found a grill from a G5 that I can use... so let the fun begin!

More underway!

I used an angular bar to make the mid session of the frame... and then some support to attach them to the side of the mid frame... take a look!

That's it for now... More later on!

Are you going to put 2 fans under that grid?

Are you going to put 2 fans under that grid? Not sure about the fans yet, but let see where this take us... meanwhile this is what I did today... I found some left overs from my HAF X (side panels) then I did some cuts... so let see what happen... :cheazz:

Thank you guys... I try to recycle as much as I can for this project... so far I have spent $0 on it... just scrap metal, wood and plastic that I have on the shop... I always like to try different shapes and colors... since there is not plan for this I don't know the outcome as well jajajaja... so today I start sanding and painting a few parts... I found some spray paint left overs (dark gray, winter gray and sage green) I will buy some chrome and metallic paint next week but so far this is what I have...

More to come!
