Scusa ma secondo le leggi della termodinamica, l'estrazione funziona se nelle giuste posizioni, l'induzione dell'aria calda raggiunge la massima efficacia se estratta dall'alto, a ventola posteriore già ha efficenza parecchio inferiore rispetto a quelle in alto, ma comunque è utile soprattutto perchè quantomeno aspira parte dell'aria del dissipatore, specialmente con i dissipatori a torre o in presenza di radiatori monoventole, quella laterale da 23cm puoi anche farne a meno, in estrazione è inutile fra l'altro è posizionata in basso, serve quasi a nulla, molto più utile in immissione per cui è stata fra l'altro progettata, così come l'hai messa tu dovrebbe succhiare aria fresca proveniente dalle parti basse ed espellerla perciò.......

La posteriore sarebbe ottima ed efficace se posizionata molto in alto, più in alto possibile, allora sì che l'efficienza aumenta anche per questa.

Altrimenti l'estrazione è al 90% sul tetto, da lì esce la vera aria calda, cambia se hai l'H50 però.

HAF è na bomba, magari non avvertirai nulla però forse sì, boh.

Guarda che di ventole da 23cm ne ho 3, e proprio per le leggi della termodinamica quelli della CoolerMaster hanno pensato di metterne una in estrazione in alto, e io ne ho affiancata un'altra da 12cm... quella da 14 si trova poco sotto quella da 23cm quindi è posizionata cmq bella rialzata.

Inoltre nel case ho pochissimo calore in quanto la cpu è raffreddata dall'H50 che funziona a liquido, mentre l'alimentatore prende aria fredda da sotto e la butta fuori da dietro... quindi solo la scheda video riscalda un po' l'aria all'interno del case. Sono sicuro che con l'Accelero non avrò problemi di calore interno... non vedo l'ora di testarlo cmq

Carino lo stò provando anch'io...e tra l'altro gira bene anche con tuttto al masimo e edge detect a 24X a 1920*1440..

Dear Asus Technical Support,

i have two ATI 5970 and i want try a QuadCrossfire system (with two ati 5970 and a total of 4 GPU..).

When i insert the VGA in the PCi-ex slot and i attach the connector and the CrossfireX bridge , the system don't boot and i see in the display a frequent " CMOS ERROR".

The PSU is a 1 KW unit and all the Pci cable connections in the VGA are OK (8pin + 6 pin regulary connected).

If I connect only one VGA is all OK and the system boot regoary..

If i connect two VGA ATI 5970 or two 4870X2 ...the system don't boot and i see a CMOS ERROR after the VGA bios checking in the LCD display (the CPU check step in the LCD display is ok.) and the system remain blocked with the write CMOS ERR in the LCD display.

The 2 VGA ATI 5970 are new and they are at their first installation. In an another PC they regolary worked..

The RAM are ok because i have no problem with Crossfire configuration of 2 VGA (2 GPU) or 1 or also a "Trifire" setup with 3 GPU (for example 4870X2 + 4890 interconnected with the Crossfire bridge..)..

The problem is also with the BIOS at default (last bios version 1202) and with no any overclocking setup, and It happens also after I reset the CMOS pushing the button in the rear of the motherboard or removing the circolary BIOS battery in the motherboard to reset the CMOS ....the system don't boot with CMOS ERROR.

In the ATI site, at this address :

is reported that a combination of 2 ATI 5970 is accepted with the X48 Intel Chipset obviously with the Crossfire bridge connect (and i surely coonect it ..)..

So...if INTEL X48 chipset allow a combination of 2 ATI 5970 and i have no problem of PSU power with a unit of 1 KW (Zalman HP 1000) , why i have this problem and the system doesn't work and boot with CMOS ERROR??

My system is simple...(no water cooling, one hard disk, one DVD reader, air cpu heatsink..)... or other that requires high voltage PSU...and , i repeat, i have no problem with one VGA or Crosffire or Trifire combination of 1,2 or 3 GPU connected in CrossfireX or no...

The problem is always with 2 ATI "X2"" series like 5970 or 4870X2 connected in Crossfire..

Antonio,leggendomi tutto il thread notavo in alcuni screen che mantieni la modalita AA da CCC in Edge detect,venendo da vga nvidia non sono molto pratico con il CCC e ti volevo chiedere quale sia la migliore config per appunto il CCC ,per esempio,su altri lidi mi hanno consigliato di mettere il C.AI su advanced,ma tu lo tieni su standard se non erro,confermi?notavo anche che tieni tranquillo i 1000 sul core con 1,2V ,mi consigli anche per un buon daily questa impostazione tenendo che le ventole le tengo al 100%?premetto che uso una 5970 B.E. della XFX , ti ringrazio in anticipo... cmq vi ho trovati smanettoni un saluto a tutti

ps.nick ti levi il 940 per passare ad un 930?

Ciao bello!

La modalità Edge detect è la + pesante ma la migliore per

resa qualitativa.

AI su advanced fa perdere qualità alle immagini, ma fa aumentare i frame, ma io voglio la qualità massima, le prestazioni me le da la scheda!

Direi che se tieni la scheda videoa con un voltaggio di 1.168v i 900/1200 sono tranquilli da prendere con ventola al 48%!

Oggi mi ha risposto ASUS . La sola Rampage che supporta il QuadCross e` la Rampage Extreme II.....e pensare che DFI per es. ha risolto con un semplice aggiornamento e che AMD certifica il supporto al QuadCross anche per X48....:cheazz:
