perdonate l'ignoranza, ho acquistato una scheda madre che ha:

2 (x8) PCI-e,

1 (x4) PCI-e (using x8 slot),

3x 32-bit PCI slots

Dovrei scegliere una scheda madre, noto che la GeForce 8800gt ha un "bus interface" PCI-e 16x 2.0

Ci sono problemi di incompatibilità tra schede video 16x e la mia scheda madre 8x?

Lo stesso vale per quel "2.0" della scheda video?

E' necessario che scelga per esempio la 8800gts che non ha il bus Interface 2.0?

Quindi nn so se ci potrebbe entrare, sono pero' certo che quando un case riesce a contenere tale formato viene scritto nelle specifiche

nn mi sembra che il chakra possa essere compatibile con l'E-ATX

Già che ci sono ho letto nella tua firma che hai un case Uber Chakra, volevo acquistarlo anch'io per montarci su quella scheda (Supermicro X7DAE+).

Solo che non so se centra: la scheda è E-ATX (30.5cm x 33.2cm), mentre nelle specifiche del case Uber Chakra ECA5001BS leggo (nel sito) che supporta i fattori di forma EEB, ATX... non c'è scritto E-ATX

che dici?

Fisicamente credo che ci vadi, però non so se poi i fori di montaggio coincidano.

scusa...nn ho capito, nn devi rispondere: nn sono affari miei...pero' stavo notando che spendi 450 euro di scheda madre e poi come scheda video ce ne metti una da 50 euro? se devi fare un pc come server nn era meglio prendere quella con scheda video integrata?

Potevi avere speranza di installare una vga se fossero stati aperti dietro in modo da far entrare la scheda.
