linker Posted October 13, 2015 Share Posted October 13, 2015 Salve a tutti Ho da circa un mesetto acquistato un nuovo computer composto da: Motherboard: MSI Z170A Gaming7 RAM: CMK8GX4M2B3000C15 SSD: Samsung SM951 256GB CPU: Intel I5 6600K Alimentatore e tutto il resto sono a posto, prima andavano bene ed il primo, è un 80 plus gold della corsair di conseguenza non credo sia il problema. Il problema è che le ram non funzionano con il profilo XMP, vedo che mi setta tutto correttamente(frequenza, cas, e tensione) ma purtroppo il pc crasha ad ogni riavvio...come mai? visto che le ram sono state progettate per andare così? Ovviamente, nessun tipo di altro overclock o impostazione strana nel bios se invece, imposto manualmente i parametri dati da corsair il pc parte ma su windows è molto instabile come se qualcosa non tenesse.. sapete dirmi perchè? non sono ottime ram quelle che ho preso? grazie Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Credevo che le DDR4 funzionavano su tutti i socket che le supportavano. questa cosa che sono compatibili o "ottimizzate" per x99 mi è nuova L'ho appena letto sul sito, quindi sono appunto, "ottimizzate" per x99 e non per socket 1151? di conseguenza ho fattto male a prendere queste ram per il 1151? le ho prese per la frequenza e cas rispettivamente basso --- Ho provato ad abbassare la tensione e crasha praticamente tutto..vari blue screen anche dopo la prima accensione, se rimetto in spd tutto parte Edited October 14, 2015 by linker errore Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Magari allora sono le mie ram che non tengono.. mi sa che se non overclocchi la cpu come si deve non ti andranno mai col profilo xmp.. [h=3]How does XMP work on DDR4?[/h]Very similarly to DDR3, but with some caveats. For starters, Haswell-E tops out at a 2666MHz memory strap, which is very low for what DDR4 can do. Since XMP specifies speeds in excess of 2666MHz, your motherboard BIOS has to compensate somehow. Typically, when XMP tells the motherboard to use a higher memory speed than 2666MHz, the motherboard BIOS will bump the BClk strap from 100MHz to 125MHz. That’s normal, but that change will also increase the clock speed of the CPU itself; a well-designed BIOS will compensate and bring the CPU clock speed in line. [h=3]Why are there two XMP profiles on my Corsair DDR4?[/h]We include a pair of XMP profiles instead of just one for users who want to control how much power is consumed by the memory. The first XMP profile runs the DDR4 at its specification of 1.2V, while the second offers a higher speed at the cost of bumping the voltage to 1.35V. The first profile, then, is officially supported, while the second is not and instead offers a baseline of what the memory should be able to achieve. If you have trouble with stability using either XMP profile, we recommend either manually entering the speed and timings the DDR4 is rated for or running your memory at its default speeds until your motherboard vendor provides a BIOS update to improve stability.
