VESA, Video Electronics Standards Association, ha annunciato la nuova release della connessione audio/video DisplayPort in versione 1.3. La larghezza di banda arriva ora a 32,4 Gbps (25,92 Gbps per i dati video non compressi), con quattro canali da 8,1 Gbps ciascuno.
