La board LaunchPad comprende un microcontroller da 80MHz LM4F120H5QR, on-board emulation e BoosterPack in formato XL format con pin di espansione. Il microcontroller LM4F120H5QR è dotato di 256KB di flash memory, 32KB di RAM, 2KB di EEPROM, due convertitori analog-digitatl da 12-bit, una porta USB 2.0, un modulo di ibernazione ed altre connettevità seriali e flexible GPIO.
