Lo standard di certificazione MSI OC è la nuova linea base delle schede madri overclockabili. La nuova MSI Z77 MPOWER con la certificazione OC, è sottoposta a duri e stressanti test Militari, mentre le altre case produttrici si limitano ad effettuare solo test di durata (limitata). Ogni MSI Z77 MPOWER è sottoposta a test di 24 ore in OC, e solo le schede che passano questi test a condizioni davvero estreme (alte temperature e poco flusso d'aria) saranno certificate.
