sono le mie prime modifiche su schede video risalenti a diversi anni fà

ATI RADEON 8500 - Installazione dissipatore Custom adattato a mano e modifica per poter usare gli ingressi di acquisizione Video del Chip ATi Rage 200 (Purtroppo alla fine quest'ultima modifica non fuzionò come speravo, si vedeva malissimo:asd:)

Dopo di queste ATI 9800 ho fatto: ATI X1950(una sola e non mi ritrovo le foto) - poi lunga inattività - poi ho ricominciato con HD 4830, poi infine HD5750 - HD5770 - HD 7850 - e in ultimo la lunga diatriba con la HD6850, che è arrivata ormai a conclusione (C'è il thread apposito nella sezione "Xtreme-hardware VMod".

Dopo di queste ATI 9800 misi mano sulle ATI X1950, ma ne elaborai soltanto una, e purtroppo non mi ritrovo più nessuna foto.

Dopo la X1950 ho seguito un lungo periodo di inattività nel campo informatico-hardware, ripreso solo con la modifica della ATI HD 4830.

Di quest'ultima possiedo le foto... ma dopo andiamo fuori tema, perchè con la Hd4830 non è più tanto retroclocking !

Erano tutti dissipatori per CPU di recupero e/o acquistati per pochi euro alle fiere elettroniche, opportunamente ritagliati e forati

Queste sono state un vero spasso..... le più spassose che mi siano mai capitate.

Spostando una micro resistenza vicino alla GPU le Trasformavo DEFINITIVAMENTE da 9800 SE a 9800 PRO All in Wonder senza dover più ricorrere ai Tweaks dei Driver e senza dover fare null'altro.

Il risveglio delle 4 pipeline dormienti apportava un 40% in più di prestazioni :asd:, però, non contento, poteziavo tutto il raffreddamento realizzando dissipatori custom derivati da dissipatori per CPU, poi facevo la tripla Hardmod e le overclokkavo per bene direttamente da BIOS. :D

Il risultato finale era una "inesistente" All in Wonder 9800 XT +, con guadagno di prestazioni del 60% rispetto alla originaria 9800SE, prestazioni al Top assoluto per l'epoca e in più l'acquisizione Video-Antenna In
