<![CDATA[OCZ Vertex 4 128 GB o Samsung 840 Basic 120 GB ?]]>Come da titolo volevo sapere quale tra questi due ssd è più performante e affidabile.

Ho saputo che OCZ ha sostituito il vecchio controller sandforce col nuovo Indilinx Everest 2 che in molti ritengono veramente un ottimo controller.

Le caratteristiche tecniche dei due ssd sono queste:

OCZ Vertex 4 128 GB:

Sequential Reads1 560 MB/s

Sequential Writes1 430 MB/s

Random 4k Read IOPS2 90,000 IOPS

Random 4k Write IOPS2 85,000 IOPS

Maximum IOPS3 120,000 IOPS

Samsung 840 120 GB Basic:

Attualmente posseggo il samsung sopracitato ma, statistiche alla mano, l'ocz vertex 4 mi sembra nettamente superiore. Voi che dite ? In quanto ad affidabilità e controller qual'è il migliore ?

Non puoi comparare una piattaforma di fascia alta come lo è stata la X58 con tri channel con una piattaforma notebook QM57 con ram dual core. Sono cioè 2 settori completamente differenti...

se hai un disco meccanico.. un enorme vantaggio lo avresti con qualsiasi ssd anche di 2 anni fa...

nel tuo caso, mi sento di consigliare ad occhi chiusi, un samsung 830 da 256Gb... 180€ spesi benissimo!

io avevo un budget di 90€ ed ho preso il 128Gb.. che mi basta ed avanza..dato che ho altri dischi meccanici nel desktop..

Sam 840 Pro>OCZ Vertex4=Crucial M4= Sam 830>Sam 840

poi in alcuni casi dipende dalla capacità del disco..

la "classifica" di cui sopra vale per tagli da 128 e 256 Gb
