OS (Overspeed): è la funzione che consente di scrivere ad una velocità superiore rispetto a quella di certificazione del supporto. in questo modo, sarà possibile scrivere a 8x i supporti certificati 4, a 12x quelli certificati 8x e così via. OHT (Online Hyper Tuning): è l'ultima invenzione da parte di LiteOn, assimilata probabilmente dall'acquisizione di Benq. E' infatti simile alla tecnica WOPC, e consente di variare in tempo reale la potenza del laser e modificare la strategia di scrittura, tutto questo durante la masterizzazione. Questa funzionalità è disponibile solamente con gli ultimi firmware e con la versione di test di SMART-BURN.
