gianni1879 Posted June 1, 2007 Share Posted June 1, 2007 ATI ha rilasciato una nuova versione dei propri driver Catalyst per schede video della famiglia Radeon, la 7.5, introducendo per la prima volta il supporto ufficiale alle schede video Radeon HD 2900 XT, basate su GPU R600 e presentate ufficialmente nel corso del mese di Maggio. Sino a ieri per poter utilizzare queste schede è stato necessario servirsi di una versione non standard dei driver Catalyst. Segnaliamo tra le varie funzionalitò implementate il supporto alle API DirectX 10 con queste schede video, sia in configurazione a singola GPU che con tecnologia Crossfire. Dal punto di vista prestazionale ATI segnala alcune migliorie con le schede Radeon X1950XTX alle risoluzioni più elevate, utilizzando titoli che sfuttano le API Oen GL quali ad esempio Doom 3, Quake 4 e Prey. Per quello che mi riguarda un 36mark lascia il tempo che trova... Inutile avere un'auto che al banco è eccezionale e poi messa su strada è una delusione... Non ci sono note sull'aumento di prestazioni da parte dlle 2900 quindi no non ci sono variazioni di prestazioni ............. ma solo l'ufficialità dei driver per la 2900 che sino ad adesso eran beta ............. in poche parole son gli stessi driver che si trovavan in beta ma con la certificazione e release per le vecchie VGA Per cominciare a vedere aumenti prestazionali con la 2900XT come era ovvio si vedranno dalla release di giugno con i 7.6 Deos Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Deos Posted June 1, 2007 Share Posted June 1, 2007 Mi sa con i 7.7 di luglio qualcosa di buono potrebbe uscire X LA X2900xt.Ciao;) Si direi che con i 7.6 qualcosa gia si vedra ........... diciamo comincera a stare dove deve stare cioè a livello della GTX e forse coi 7.7 l'ultimo boost importante Cmq adesso gira la voce di una versione XT con 1Gb GDDR4 ............. in attesa di R650 ............. gusto per vedere come va con le GDDR4 ............ si parla di oltre 160Gb/s di banda passante ............... Il fatto che l'engine dei 7.5 si piu vecchio delle ultime release per la 2900 e dato dal fatto che l'ultima "Beta" nn andava affatto bene ....... e son andati sul sicuro con quella piu vecchia .............
