La http://www.hsafoundation.com/" target="_blank">HSA Foundationsi costituisce quindi come consorzio no-profit con lo scopo di definire e promuovere un approccio al calcolo eterogeneo basato su standard che possa fornire delle specifiche hardware comuni e un ampio ecosistema di supporto per rendere più facile agli sviluppatori di software lo sviluppo di applicazioni capaci di sfruttare al meglio i processori di oggi.
