In breve, 64 bit consentono al sistema di calcolare ed elaborare una quantità maggiore di dati rispetto a 32 bit. Pertanto, Thecus® ha aggiornato a 64 bit i nuovi modelli N77000PRO a 7 bay e N8800PRO v2 a 8 bay. Alcuni dei principali vantaggi del passaggio da 32 a 64 bit sono: migliori prestazioni, capacità di elaborare una maggior quantità di dati contemporaneamente una migliore struttura complessiva.
