<p>Il sistema di raffreddamento prevede un dissipatore di tipo passivo sul north bridge, abbinato ad uno con ventola sul south bridge. Un ulteriore dissipatore di calore è posizionato sopra la circuiteria di alimentazione della cpu, a ridosso delle porte posteriori. DFI ha scelto di dotare questa scheda madre di ben 3 Slot <a href="http://www.hwupgrade.it/news/skmadri/nforce-680i-sli-lt-anche-per-dfi_20971.html#">PCI Express</a> 16x meccanici, abbinati a 3 Slot PCI tradizionali e a uno Slot PCI Express 4x; due Slot PCI Express 16x operano con segnale 16x elettrico, mentre il terzo ha segnale 8x elettrico ed è stato sviluppato per una terza scheda video da utilizzare per le funzionalità di accelerazione fisica. </p>

<p>purtroppo se fosse stato orientato nell'altro senso ( quello verticale) avrebbe usufruito di un maggior flusso d'aria generato dalle ventole del case...evidentemente però non ci sarebbe spazio per il dissi cpu o cmq sarebbe andato a sovrapposrsi allo slot pci.</p>
<p>anzi ho paura che anche in questo modo un dissi + ampio tipo il ruby orb ci entra si e no:(</p>
