Corsair, produttore e fornitore internazionale di componenti ad alte prestazioni, ha annunciato oggi due nuovi prodotti per unità SSD (Solid State Drive). Il primo, un kit di clonazione per unità SSD e dischi rigidi, consente agli utenti di duplicare e trasferire facilmente dati tra più unità. Il kit, che include il software e un cavo, è ideale per gli utenti che passano dai dischi rigidi tradizionali (HDD) a unità SSD Corsair più veloci e resistenti. Inoltre, l'azienda ha annunciato Corsair SSD Toolbox, un'utilità software gratuita che consente di configurare, ottimizzare e monitorare le unità SSD Corsair.

Sono da poco disponibili per il download i driver per GPU NVIDIA GeForce 310.90 WHQL. Le migliorie più consistenti apportate questi driver consistono in un miglioramento delle prestazioni in Far Cry 3 fino al 38%, fino al 26% in Call of Duty Black Ops 2 e fino al 18% in Assassin's Creed III.

Skype ha rilasciato una nuova versione Beta di Skype 2.6 - esattamente la 2.6.0.97 - che integra innovazioni per Skypecast, il monitoraggio della banda occupata dal software VOIP e risoluzione di alcuni bug a livello API. Da poche ore è disponibile per il download la seconda release beta del browser web Firefox.
