Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon Trama Il gameplay comunque semplice ed immediato poggia le proprie basi su di un sistema di controllo altrettanto basilare quanto efficace nel rispondere agli input, mentre l’efficiente intelligenza artificiale dei compagni garantisce un supporto sempre adeguato durante gli affollatissimi scontri a fuoco. L’esperienza base di Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon, assimilabile a quanto offerto dal predecessore, si arricchisce in questo seguito di una modalità online. La medesima campagna e la modalità Sopravvivenza potranno essere giocate sia scollegati, magari sfruttando lo split-screen a due, sia online, formando un team di tre persone nelle missioni tradizionali e fino a sei in Survival. Quest’ultima è l’unica possibilità alternativa alla campagna principale e, ispirandosi alla classica Orda, vi metterà contro gruppi infiniti di nemici da sterminare a ondate fino a che riuscirete a sopravvivere.
