  1. Sadly I will not finish the whole project in a week :( , but I keep working =) Keep going with the vacuum forming pieces , both side panels done. Preparing for copy the main side panel piece , the more complicated Good for me A couple of images with different points of view to evaluate the quality result All the pieces together as a preview Next the top panel and start painting the pieces .
  2. Thx !!!!! There the pictures of the vacuum forming home made "machine" that I made for this project I make the heather with 5 lamps of of 1200w , same that came in this I can't get the correct creamic terminal to conect the lamps , so I use crocodiles until I get it Aluminium frame and panels on MDF Elements Construccion Mounted on MDF Test Picture of the heater near the vaccum box ( there is no secrets there , is just a MDF box with 2 holes for 2 vacuum's and A LOT of small holes at the top panel ) Test video (sorry for the bad quality and the lack of edition) , turn down the speaker volume before I turn on the vacuum
  3. New updates After a lot of fails , material and different process test`s , finally I get some good results. Stop wood work and try something else Real use of the wood pieces , vaccum forming cut of the single pieces I choose to make the pieces one-by-one because all of the fail was trying to make entire panels , it can be done , but I don't like the quality of the results Preview , I hope to get better quality in the final pieces To make this pieces , I have to build my own home-made vacuum forming machine , that explain the lack of updates
  4. More pieces using the same materials and techniques , this time for the top of the case Drawing Cut Edges cut in angle Finish using rotary tool and sand paper by hand Some pictures in different points of view of a case-top preview
  5. Thanks !!! Thanks , The cabinet will have two 12cm fans at the top taking out the hot air , 2 in the side panel and 1 more in the front blowing fresh air inside , temperatures will not be a problem. MDF will not affect the final result , as you will see later
  6. More pieces made in MDF , this time in 5mm of thickness Pieces glued in place I worked on them to make the edges rounded All the pieces together , this is for the fans of the top of the case Same for the side panel Complete side panel preview , with this new pieces , I can have 3 different highs , to make it look less flat than before
  7. More pieces for the side panels , almost done Left Rigth
  8. Thanks !!! I usually don't film myself working , in another forum some guy say that want to see me working because is hard to him believe that I can do this job with that tools What a jerk
  9. Let's start with the side panel design (basic) I made this pieces in MDF (1/2 inch) to get the desire shape First the cuts Every piece must be worked manually to get it into shape Example More pieces Panoramic view of the working area :circondato:and tools used Half-side panel done , three picture of different angles . Pieces of the two side panel (it will be symmetrical) confronted to compare A simple video of the process
