Tutte le schede madri con chipset Intel serie 9, cioè X99, Z97 e H97 sono supportate. MSI ha preparato BIOS specifici con il pieno supporto alla funzione, già pronti per il download. NVM Express è la nuova generazione di storage su PCI Express che garantisce un drastico abbassamento di consumi e latenze, aumentando la velocità rispetto al controller AHCI.
